What is CoderBoost
CoderBoost is a smart network accelerator for developers and AI builders. It picks the best route for each development and AI resource instead of sending all traffic through a single exit.
In one sentence
CoderBoost maintains a reviewed resource list (200+ services, 340+ domains) and labels each resource with its best connection method. Once you connect, targets on the list take their own routes, and everything else stays on your own network.
What it solves
- Developer resources such as GitHub, npm, PyPI and Docker Hub are slow or downloads keep breaking.
- AI services such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude care about the quality of the source IP, so connections are unstable.
- Tools such as Claude Code are strict about IP cleanliness, and ordinary routes easily trigger risk checks.
- Meeting all of these needs with traditional tools means configuring complex chained proxies and routing rules.
What it is not
- Not a global accelerator: it does not take over all your traffic and does not provide a global exit.
- Not a whole-internet proxy: it serves only lawful development and AI resources on the list; social networks, search engines and similar sites are out of scope.
- Not a replacement for your network: it runs on top of your current network, including corporate networks.
Core concepts
| Concept | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Resource list | The server-maintained list of domains that can be accelerated; you can also request personal domains |
| Route | Smart Direct / Edge Accelerated / AI Compliant Exit / Residential Line, see "Four route types and smart routing" |
| Edge node | The relay node closest to you, responsible for lowering latency |
| Exit node | An IDC or residential exit, responsible for reaching the target service |
| Connection mode | PAC / explicit proxy / TUN, which decides which apps hand their traffic to CoderBoost |
| Proxy address | The address the local proxy listens on, for example 127.0.0.1:7898 |
