DNS settings

System DNS and custom DNS.

The system DNS is used by default. Domains on the list are handled by the client according to the route policy, so you usually don't need to change DNS.

When you need a specific upstream DNS (an internal company DNS or a particular public resolver):

bash
cnb dns system # use the system DNS
cnb dns custom 223.5.5.5 # custom upstream
cnb dns custom 10.0.0.53:53

In the desktop client, change it under Proxy settings → DNS.

Note

A custom DNS does not make domains outside the list accelerated.
