Network adaptation and corporate networks
CoderBoost works on top of your current network and can be used alongside corporate networks and security software.
How it works
CoderBoost treats your current network as the "base network" and builds its connection to the edge node on top of it.
When the network changes
When you switch Wi-Fi, change networks or plug in a cable, the client detects the change, re-probes the base network and re-routes.
What it won't do
- It does not bypass the kill-switch protection of corporate networks or security software. If company policy blocks an address, CoderBoost cannot reach it either.
- It does not overwrite system proxy changes made later by other software.
Upstream proxy
If your network requires a company proxy to reach the internet, set that proxy as the base network's upstream in the client. If the upstream is unavailable, connections fail honestly instead of going direct.
Common conflicts
| Symptom | What to do |
|---|---|
| Two apps both want to set the system proxy | Keep PAC in only one app; switch the other to TUN or turn off its system proxy feature |
| Route conflicts with two TUNs enabled | Enable only one TUN at a time |
| Blocked by company security software | Ask your IT team whether development resources are allowed |
