Everything a developer needs from the network, in one client

Smart routing, flexible connection modes, developer-tool support and steady reliability. Every feature started as a real developer need.

Smart routing

Each resource gets its own route, node segments are selectable, and routing pauses clearly when an exit has problems.

Per-resource routing

The server keeps a connection policy for every resource (Smart Direct, Edge Accelerated, AI Compliant Exit, Residential Line), and the client applies it in real time based on your plan and network.

Chained connections

Edge nodes cut latency and exit nodes provide compliant access. Each segment does one job, and the two chain together.

Three-segment node selection

Pick your edge node, IDC exit and residential exit separately. Each segment has a change quota per 30 days to avoid risk checks from frequent switching.

Bot-check affinity

Set an affinity base domain so a group of sites shares one exit and you only pass the check once.

No silent fallback

Resources that require a specific exit pause and show why when that exit is down, instead of switching to another exit or going direct.

Re-probe on network change

After switching Wi-Fi or networks, the client re-probes the base network and re-routes automatically.

Connection modes

Three modes for different situations, with system settings fully restored when you disconnect.

Auto proxy (PAC)

The default. Only the system auto-proxy address is written; browsers and apps that follow system proxy settings need no setup.

Explicit proxy

HTTP and SOCKS5 on the same local port (7898 by default, the next one if busy). Enter it in the apps that need it.

Virtual adapter (TUN)

Takes over per resource with no per-app setup, for programs that ignore proxy settings (requires the system helper).

Stop and restore

Disconnecting restores your previous system proxy settings and never overwrites changes someone else made later.

Developer tools

Terminals, package managers, containers and VMs all have ready-made setups.

One-line terminal setup

eval "$(cnb env)", or copy a bash / zsh / fish / PowerShell snippet from the client.

Git, npm, pip, Docker snippets

Copy proxy settings for common tools in one click.

Shared proxy

Docker, WSL and VMs can use a shared proxy limited to private ranges, with separate credentials per guest (the password is shown once). Turn it off to disconnect.

Custom DNS

Use the system DNS or a custom upstream.

Local logs and diagnostics

Filter and export logs by level; on Linux, cnb diag collects diagnostics.

Reliability

Adapts to your network, respects corporate security policies, and nodes are checked continuously.

Adapts to your network

Your current network is the base network and routes are built on top of it; changes trigger an automatic re-probe.

Respects corporate security

Never bypasses the kill-switch protection of corporate networks or security software.

Automatic reconnect

Connections are rebuilt automatically after an interruption.

Node health checks

The server tracks node heartbeats continuously; failing nodes are downgraded or replaced automatically.

Account & service

Devices, tickets, time credits and updates are all clear in your dashboard and client.

Request new sites

Request sites outside the list online: an isolated probe reviews them automatically, with manual review when inconclusive. Approved sites apply only to your account and can be restored within 5 days of deletion.

Device management

See every signed-in device and remove any in one click, which revokes its credentials.

Support and tickets

Live chat plus tickets, with messages delivered in order and safe retries on failure.

Outage time credit

Confirmed outages are credited at twice the affected time, shown as credited, pending and under review.

Referral rewards

Share your referral link and earn a share of what referred users pay, with withdrawals on request.

Safe updates

Client updates are verified against a signed manifest, health-checked after install and rolled back automatically on failure.

Platforms

Desktop clients for Windows and macOS; on Linux, the cnb command line plus a local web UI, installed per user with no root needed.

macOSDesktop client · Apple silicon / Intel
Linuxcnb + local web UI · x86_64Installs to ~/.local; the web UI only accepts local connections, so use ssh -L for remote access.
