Local web UI and remote use

The graphical interface on Linux, reachable only from the local machine; on a server, use it through SSH port forwarding.

Open it

bash
cnb web

The command prints a one-time login link; open it in a browser on the same machine. The web UI matches the desktop client: connection, node settings, domains, support, referrals, logs and more.

Security design

  • It listens only on the local loopback address, so the LAN cannot reach it.
  • Login links work only once.
  • cnb web --revoke invalidates every browser session immediately.

Using it on a remote server

Suppose CoderBoost runs on a remote Linux server and the web UI port is <web-port> (see cnb status):

bash
# on your computer
ssh -L 8899:127.0.0.1:<web-port> user@server
# on the server (another terminal)
cnb web

Replace the host and port in the login link with 127.0.0.1:8899 and open it in your local browser.

Without the graphical interface

Everything can be done with cnb; see the cnb command reference.
